Sunrise Family Medicine has developed this website as a way to help educate and assist our patients. The website contains much of the information that you will find in our Brochure. The mission of Sunrise Family Medicine is to promote the health and well-being of the population of El Dorado County residents by providing accessible, quality medical care for people of all ages. We specialize in Family Practice, which includes the examination, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases and conditions of all aspects of healthcare. We focus on the physical, emotional, and social health of the entire family from infancy to adulthood. We strive to provide your family with the highest quality of care in a warm, personalized environment. Sunrise Family Medicine is further committed to providing services that will exceed the expectations of the patients resulting in a successful and profitable business. The practice is further committed to the philosophy that the existence of the practice is to serve the medical needs of each patient and the overall needs of the community of El Dorado County.
Board Certification
Family physicians practice the specialty of Medical Science concerned with the physical, emotional, and social health of the entire family, from infancy to adulthood. Family Medicine encompasses a broad spectrum of health services ranging from preventive healthcare to diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases. Family Physicians understand the many factors that affect the growth and development of the entire family. Because the welfare of family members and adolescents is heavily dependent on the home and family, family physicians support efforts to create a nurturing environment. Such support includes education about healthful living and guidance for both patient and parents. Family physicians participate in the community to prevent or solve problems in the health care for family members and adolescents. Family physicians are uniquely qualified to provide care for the entire family due to their specialized training and overall concern for their well being. All family physicians in our office are Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and have achieved this certification by completing an additional three-year training program combined with rigorous testing.
Professional Fees
It is the desire of this office to provide the highest quality of Family Medicine at a reasonable fee. Fees for consultation, prolonged care, involved problems and establishing records for a new patient are determined by time and complexity of the problem involved. When possible, a complete examination and history are obtained on all new patients in order to establish a basis for continuing care.

You may expect to be treated respectfully and courteously at all times. We work as a professional health-care team, and we welcome any suggestions that might help to improve the care that you and your family receive. We believe strongly in the doctor-parent-patient relationship, which is necessary for the optimum care of the family.
Emergency Illness
If your family member becomes ill or is injured after regular office hours, call the regular office number as listed on the front cover of this brochure. You will then be put in touch with our answering service, which will then contact the Family Physician or Nurse Triage Service on call.
